My friend from high school, Sarah, stopped by tonight. I hadn’t seen her since June. It was great catching up and she was nice enough to let me take a few pictures of her. Isn’t she purty?
All I got for a post today is a shot I took of my buddy as we were walking to a friend’s house. But I did meet my quota for the day.
Tonight, I am leaving a candle lit for Representative Gabby Giffords and the innocent people killed and injured in the attack aimed at Rep. Giffords. A Federal Judge was killed. Judge John Roll was stopping by to say hello. Representative Giffords was holding a peaceful assembly. It was her who was selected to read about the RIGHT to peacefully assemble guaranteed to us by the First Amendment just days ago. This is poetic irony.
We are standing on the precipice. We are at the dawn of a new era. And it will not be an era back on which we look with pleasantries if we don’t change something soon. We must decide that life is sacred and stick to it.
Just some pictures I took of my friends Brittany and Kiefer tonight. It was a good time and they were awesome for letting me take so many pictures of them. All the practice was awesome.
I didn’t have much time with my camera today. But I managed to take some pictures of some crows as they were playing in the air currents. Some of the clouds looked kinda cool too. Ever since I saw this video I have had a bit of a reverence for crows.
No more chatter because it’s very late. Here are some pictures for today.
I know, I know. I’m a day late. I’m a dollar short. And I need to stop making excuses. Whatever 🙂 Here’s the pic I took, and should have posted, yesterday. This is my guitar brotha Jason. Namaste!
For some reason, these made me think the two trees at the center of the Garden of Eden. The bottom one really reminds me of the difference between the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (the Tree of Death).
Today I spent time with my God-sister, Rebecca. While we were out lunching it up and enjoying coffee and catching up, the kids (of which there are MANY) were at home playing. We pulled into the drive way when we came back and this was waiting in the window for her. Too cute to pass up. Not the best shot ever, but one of the cutest. And it’s one of about 10 pictures I took today. I need to start shooting more!
Because I’m taking the pictures the day I post them, sometimes I don’t get them posted until after midnight. That means that the time stamp for the post on this blog reads the wrong day. I’ll try to get them posted by 11:45PM from now on. Just know that I haven’t cheated already lol
